Microbead Embroidery Postcard-Envelope Kit "Still Life with a Fan"

“Still Life with a Fan” sets a yellow jug of daffodils beside a folded blue fan, with lace draped behind. A classical arrangement in a very light key.

What the picture shows

The jug stands at the centre: its rounded body and curved handle are worked in amber and honey micro beads, and the transparency of the glass is shown with paler rows through which the green stems can be seen. A bunch of daffodils rises from it — white and cream petals with orange trumpets, some flowers open to the front, others turned aside. The stems and narrow leaves are grass green and dark green. A folded fan lies in the lower left, laid out in blue and turquoise beads with fine yellow dots along its edge. White lace is draped behind, its pattern also beaded, while the blue-green watercolour ground and the yellow patches at the bottom stay as printing — micro beads never cover the canvas solidly.
