Microbead Embroidery Postcard-Envelope Kit "Snowdrops"

“Snowdrops” places blue-white snowdrops in a tall goblet vase beside a bronze lamp. A quiet arrangement in greens and blues.

What the picture shows

The vase stands at the centre: bowl and foot are worked in blue and cobalt beads, with white and orange festoons and rows of beads running across them like chasing. Snowdrops rise from it — white bells with blue shadows, each on a bent green stalk; the leaves are narrow, worked in two greens, and some stems curl upwards. A cream lattice screen of beads stands to the left and gives the composition a second plane. In the lower right sits a bronze lamp with a tall handle, laid out in copper and gold beads. The green and yellow watercolour ground and the small blue bird in the corner stay as printing and are never beaded over.
