Microbead Embroidery Postcard-Envelope Kit "Chamomile field"
Description
“Chamomile field” is a bunch of daisies and cornflowers spilling out of a wooden frame with a landscape in it. The idea is simple: the flowers will not stay inside the picture.
What the picture shows
A rectangular frame stands on the left, worked in bronze and copper beads in uneven, deliberately rough rows, so it looks like a home-made stretcher. Inside it the printed landscape is left as it is: a field, a line of trees, a blue band of hills and white blossom below. On the right a bouquet tips over the edge of the frame — five large white daisies with raised yellow centres worked in circles, and between them cornflowers and forget-me-nots with small blue petals. The leaves and stems use three greens, from yellow-green to dark. The ground around the bouquet stays as pale print, so the flowers look as though they were lying on top of a photograph.
