Description

“Zacarpatska region” is a narrow strip of an outline with a green ornament.

What the picture shows

This is the lowest magnet in the series: 68×35 mm, stretched lengthways, with a wavy upper edge and a rounded left end. The colours differ from most of the regions: instead of red and black there are dark green and golden beads over a warm, mottled print. Two black lines run the whole length of the piece with a dense green band between them, and a diamond of red and green beads is worked to the right. Two hundred and thirty-nine beads in four colours leave plenty of the print open, so the coloured ground of the canvas works for the picture too. A gold cord along the edge holds the narrow shape and hides the cut of the canvas. Because of the long proportions the magnet sits well on the side of a fridge.
