Description

“Poltava region” is a wide outline with a solid red and white ornament.

What the picture shows

The shape resembles a stretched hexagon with notched edges and is almost symmetrical. The ornament fills the whole surface: large red triangles and diamonds alternate with white steps, and rows of transparent dark red beads run between them, catching the light differently from the matte ones. The design is so dense that the print shows only in narrow gaps between the rows, so the piece looks almost solidly beaded. There are three colours — red, white and dark red. Eight hundred and five beads make this one of the longer pieces in the series. A gold cord follows every notch of the perimeter.
