Description

“Kharkiv region” carries a red and black ornament that turns into flowers.

What the picture shows

The outline is almost square, with spurs on every side. The upper part is geometric: red bands, black zigzags and diamonds on white canvas. Lower down the ornament turns floral — a dense group of red flowers with black centres, much like poppies. That split makes the magnet less uniform than most of its geometric neighbours in the series. There are only two colours, red and black. Six hundred and twenty-five beads do not cover the canvas fully: the white ground shows between the motifs and effectively works as a third colour. A gold cord follows the notched outline.
