“Map of Ukraine” is the complete set of magnets in the series, together making a map 450 mm wide.

What the picture shows

In the photo all the regions are laid out together and meet edge to edge like a jigsaw: each piece carries its own ornament, its own colour range and a gold cord around the outline. There are dense red and black geometric regions, red and white towel patterns, colourful Hutsul scatters, the rare green and brown-beige motifs of the series, and a separate piece of Crimea at the bottom. The assembled map measures 450×310 mm and holds fifteen bead colours and approximately 12,707 beads, so it is not a project for one week. The canvas stays visible between the beads everywhere, so every region keeps the texture of its print.
