“St. Natalia” — the saint holds a cross and an open scroll, in a pairing of turquoise and coral red.

What the picture shows

She is shown half-length, her head covered by a turquoise-blue veil finely edged with pearls. Her robe is coral red, softly folded, with a gold band at the neckline. In her right hand she holds a dark eight-pointed cross; in her left, an open pale scroll bearing an inscription. The halo is wide, assembled from many concentric rings running from ochre to deep gold. A brown-and-gold border of foliate scrollwork runs around the edge, with rosettes in the upper corners and a cartouche below. The beading is partial: figure, veil, halo, cross, scroll and frame are beaded, while the pale printed background is left open.
