Icon Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "St. Nadegda"

“St. Nadegda” — a young saint with her hands raised in prayer, in warm pink and gold.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown half-length, both palms lifted before her breast in a gesture of prayer. Her chestnut hair falls loose, held by a slim beaded band. A string of pearls lies at her throat, and her rose-terracotta robe is worked with gold bands and green and red inlays that read as gemstones. A small gold cross stands between her hands. The halo is broad and warmly golden, shading softly into ochre. A brown-and-gold foliate border frames the image, with rosettes above and a cartouche below. The beading is partial: figure, robe, halo and frame are beaded, while the cream printed background stays on the canvas.
