What the picture shows

She is shown half-length, her gaze lifted upward. A long lilac-violet mantle in soft folds covers her head and shoulders, and beneath it a pink gown and a gold necklace are visible. In her right hand she holds a red egg, in her left a gilded vessel with a tall lid. The halo is double: the inner ring is green-blue, the outer warm gold shading to ochre. A brown-and-gold foliate border runs around the edge, with rosettes in the upper corners and a cartouche below. The beading is partial: figure, mantle, halo, the objects in her hands and the frame are beaded, while the cream printed background is left open.
