What the picture shows

The saint stands facing forward, her gaze turned slightly aside. A pale veil edged with a beaded trim covers her head, with a white-and-blue cap beneath it; small earrings show at her ears. Her outer robe is grass green, and a pink-crimson dress with fine patterning shows beneath it. A slender chain with a coloured cross hangs at her breast. Her right hand is raised palm outward, her left lowered. The halo is wide and worked in rainbow rings, from green and gold to pale yellow at the rim. The background is cream with printed leaf scrollwork, framed by an amber-brown border with fan-shaped upper corners and a cartouche below. The beading is partial: beads cover the figure, the robes, the halo and the frame, while the face, hands and background stay printed.
