“St. Olga” is a princess with a cross raised in one hand and a model church in the other.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist in rich princely dress. A tall crimson headdress covers her head, with a pearl brow band and thick pendants hanging from beneath it; a large brooch with a dark stone sits at her breast. A green-and-gold wrap covers her shoulders, over a red gown. Her right hand is raised holding a small gold cross; in her left is a white-and-blue model church with domes. The halo is gold, the ground cream with an embossed scroll. The beads fill the headdress, the robes, the cross, the church and the halo, while the face, the hands and the ground stay printed on the canvas.
