«St. Juliana» shows the martyr in a low red cap with a white veil; a green gown and red patterned panels make the image dressy.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist, her head turned slightly aside. She wears a red cap with a gold edge, a white veil falling from under it to her shoulders. The gown is grass green, with red panels above worked in dense floral ornament and gold trim. Her right hand is raised with an open palm, the left holds the fabric. The halo is golden with a warm gradation, and above it a beaded ornamental arch and the name plaque. Face and hands stay printed, as does the cream embossed ground — the beading is not solid.
