What the picture shows

The figure is shown to the waist: dark wavy hair, a short beard, a lowered gaze. The clothing is as plain as it gets — a pale blue shirt with a narrow embroidered neckline and a dark belt, the sleeves gathered softly at the elbows. Both arms are crossed on the chest. The halo is honey gold, the ground cream with an embossed scroll and beaded fans in the upper corners. The palette is the shortest in the series: blue, ochre and gold, which is why the kit needs only ten bead colours. The beads fill the shirt, the halo and the border, while the face, the hands and the ground stay printed on the canvas.
