What the picture shows

Two large yellow lemons with dimpled skin sit in the middle of the shopper, with long dark green leaves and clear veining spreading beside them and small white flowers with yellow centres. The palette is short: yellow in several shades, green, and brown for the branch. The fabric around the design is left plain, so the motif reads from a distance. The lemon skin is worked in two or three yellows with a green shadow near the stalk, and the leaves in dark and light green. The kit holds 14 thread colours and 42 m of thread.
