Cross Stitch Kit "Watercolor elephant"
Description
“Watercolor elephant” is a silhouette assembled from splashes of paint rather than even fills.
What the picture shows
The animal's head and trunk emerge from a scatter of small stitches: pink, crimson, violet, turquoise and blue specks thicken where a shadow would be and fly off as splashes at the edges. The outline is never closed, which is exactly why the figure looks wet and in motion. The white canvas around it stays clean and works as a sheet of paper. Sixteen floss colours over 23 m, with metallic threads and Preciosa beads for accents. The specks sit closer together near the centre and thin out towards the edges — that is where the sense of wet paint comes from.

A 150×150 mm design, simple to work but demanding attention to isolated single stitches. Finishing — hoop, frame or mount — is up to you and is not part of the kit. Scattered designs like this are easiest to work colour by colour: all the dark accents first, then the pale splashes.
