Cross Stitch Kit "The Tree of Forest Tales"
Description
“The Tree of Forest Tales” is a folk tree of life with birds and two foxes at its trunk.
What the picture shows
The trunk is worked in ochre and brown and branches above into a symmetrical crown of round leaves, red and pink flowers and small berries. Ginger and blue birds perch on the branches facing each other. Two foxes with full tails sit symmetrically at the roots, and a band of flowers and leaves runs along the bottom. The black canvas is left unstitched and makes the colours as dense as folk painting. Twenty-eight floss colours, 69 m. The birds and foxes use warmer shades than the crown, so they are not lost among the leaves and flowers.
