“The Star Lighter” shows a small green dragon sitting under the constellations it has lit.

What the picture shows

The dragon is small and round-eyed: green scales with an ochre belly, short wings and a long tail curled around its feet. It sits on dark ground worked in fine stitches, and above it golden stars are scattered over the blue canvas, joined by thin lines into constellations. Pale stalks rise to the left and right. The blue canvas is left unstitched and works as the night sky. Seventeen floss colours, 25 m. The scales along the dragon's back are worked in small stitches in two greens, the belly in a lighter ochre.
