“The naughty cats” shows two kittens taking apart a freshly decorated tree.

What the picture shows

The fir stands in a woven basket, its branches deep green and hung with red baubles and small ornaments. A grey tabby kitten has climbed right to the top and reaches out a paw for a decoration, while a ginger one sits below by the basket and looks up. The coffee canvas is left unstitched and gives a warm domestic ground. Eighteen floss colours over 27 m, with some baubles and snowflakes worked in Preciosa beads. The needles use three shades of green worked in short angled stitches, which makes the branches look fluffy.
