Description

“Red gold-1” shows a red betta fish with wide, half-transparent fins.

What the picture shows

The tail and dorsal fin open into a large fan that fills the upper two thirds of the motif: they run from bright red to dark cherry, with thin light rays reaching from the body to the very edges. The body is denser and darker, crossed by a band of golden flecks, and the lower fins are narrow and pointed. A pale outline runs all around, so the figure looks drawn at the edge. In the photo small beads and clear sequins are scattered over the fins — the data for this kit does not list them. Thirteen floss colours hold the shift from fiery red to almost black. The background is not stitched: in the photo it is dark navy cloth, where the pale rays on the fins read best of all. The fish faces down while the tail rises.
