“Peace on Earth” shows a snowman with golden wings standing in a blue Christmas night.

What the picture shows

The figure is built from three snowballs, its wing-arms spread wide and worked in gold metallic thread, with a golden star glowing above its head. It holds a green sprig, and a row of small green beads runs across the lower ball. The navy canvas is not covered solidly: blue and turquoise strokes come through it and read as fir branches in the dark, with golden stars burning between them. Twenty floss colours over 33 m. The wings are made of long gold stitches laid out like a fan — the most noticeable detail of the piece.
