“On the swing” shows two gnomes in red hats swinging on a board in the snow.

What the picture shows

The board hangs on two ropes and two gnomes with long pale beards sit side by side on it; their hats are red and their scarves — one pink, one red — stream out in opposite directions. Snowflakes and sprigs of mistletoe with red berries and green leaves are scattered around. The light blue canvas is left unstitched and works as frosty air. Twenty floss colours over 21 m, with a few snowflakes worked in beads. The gnomes' beards use several shades of cream, so they do not merge with the bodies and read on their own.
