“Night beauty” shows a carved lantern glowing in the dark with a lilac moth flying to it.

What the picture shows

The lantern hangs on a chain: the dome is worked in red, orange and gold with a fine ornament, the lower part glows warm yellow and a red drop hangs beneath. On the right, almost touching the glass, a large moth hovers with violet and lilac wings dotted in white. Yellow-green light spreads around the lantern with small stars dissolving in it. The blue canvas stays open and holds the night tone. Nineteen floss colours over 34 m, with Preciosa beads included. The moth's wings are worked in two layers, darker below and lighter above, which makes them look translucent.
