“Little lioness” shows a lion cub with a flower behind its ear in a warm crimson palette.

What the picture shows

The cub's face is shown close up, its eyes narrowed and its mouth stretched in a wide smile with two fangs showing under the upper lip. The mane and fur are built from pink, coral, cherry and lilac stitches laid in strands. A pale flower sits behind the ear, and large petals and leaves in the same tones embrace the composition from below. The white canvas stays clean at the edges and keeps the piece light. Forty-one floss colours, 93 m. The strands of the mane fan out from the face to the edges, each in its own shade — the main body of work in this design.
