Cross Stitch Kit "Lama"

“Lama” shows a blue llama in festive dress inside a wreath of stars and sprigs.

What the picture shows

The llama stands in profile with a long neck and lowered lashes; on its back is a bright fringed blanket in yellow, orange and crimson, with pink hearts rising above it. An open circle of yellow stars, tiny flowers and thin sprigs is laid out around the animal. The light yellow canvas is left unstitched and stays as a warm background against which the blue silhouette reads clearly. Some of the stars and hearts are worked in Preciosa beads. The blanket is built from several even bands that repeat with small changes, and a section like that stitches up quickly.
