What the picture shows

The stack is built up in layers: a dark brown blanket with a lace edge at the bottom, then pink, white and grey cushions with fringes, and right on top a grey tabby kitten curled into a ball. The blue canvas is left open and reads as the half-dark of a room in which only this soft tower is lit. Among the thirteen floss colours there are many close shades of grey and pink, which is why the design is rated average. Every layer of bedding has its own pattern — a stripe, a small check, a fringe — and that is what makes the stack feel alive.
