Cross Stitch Kit "In a mitten"
Description
“In a mitten” shows a ginger owlet peeking out of a red mitten in the middle of a snowfall.
What the picture shows
The mitten stands in the centre in dense red, with a large pale blue snowflake on it and a light cuff. An owlet with feathered horns and green eyes looks out of it, one wing raised. The background is not solid: pale blue, pink and light green patches are scattered across the white canvas, with snowflakes laid over them, some of them worked in Preciosa beads. Twenty floss colours over 33 m of thread. The snowflake pattern on the mitten is the finest part of the drawing; everything else fills in large even patches.

A 150×150 mm miniature, simple to stitch despite the number of shades. The beads work as hoarfrost here: they are sewn over the finished crosses once the main stitching is done.
