“A house on the Moon” shows a red-roofed cottage settled inside a yellow crescent.

What the picture shows

The crescent fills almost the whole circle: yellow, with small crater notches. A small house with a lit window and a little tree beside it stands on its lower horn, and inside the crescent a blue-violet starry sky darkens. A pink-and-white hot-air balloon with a basket floats above the roof. Outside, white strokes of cloud are scattered over the light blue canvas, which stays open and gives daylight around the night centre. Sixteen floss colours, 35 m. The craters on the moon are marked with a few darker stitches — a small detail, but without it the crescent would look flat.
