“Heart of the Motherland” is a blue-and-yellow heart that looks painted in two brush strokes.

What the picture shows

The heart is tilted to one side: the left part yellow, the right light blue, both patches rough at the edges with gaps of bare canvas inside, the way a dry brush leaves them. A thin dark outline runs over the colour and closes the shape. The word “КОХАЙ” — “love” — is stitched below in counted letters. The rest of the white canvas stays empty, and the piece lives on that contrast. Seven floss colours, 19 m of thread. The gaps of bare canvas inside the patches are left on purpose: they are what creates the dry-brush effect.
