“Good luck leaf-1” shows a four-leaf clover with one golden leaf.

What the picture shows

The shape is symmetrical: three heart-shaped leaves are worked in green, from emerald at the edge to a lighter tone inside, while the fourth, at the bottom, is done in warm golden yellow. Curls and spirals are laid inside each leaf in a lighter thread, as if the veins had turned into ornament. A dark green outline runs around the shape and a short stem drops from the base. In the photo gold beads are scattered along the edges of the leaves — the data for this kit does not list them. Eleven floss colours make up the whole palette, and nearly all of it is green and gold. The background is not stitched: in the photo it is the white pocket of a shirt, where the curls inside the leaves show clearly. The motif reads like a brooch stitched straight onto the fabric.
