“Gift with cottages” puts a whole little town under a glass dome tied with a ribbon.

What the picture shows

Colourful cottages crowd under the transparent dome — white, yellow, green, blue and pink, each with its own roof and windows — and an orange windmill stands to the right. A large pink star-flower rises above the roofs, a small bird perches on the left, and the dome is tied with a knot of ribbon on top. The light blue canvas stays open and reads as the air around the glass. Fourteen floss colours, with small accents picked out in Czech seed beads. A 150×150 mm miniature with a lot of small detail — the interest here is in colour rather than scale. The finished piece can stay in the decorative hoop from the kit or go to a framer; a frame is not part of the kit.
