“Festive welcome” shows a red front door with a wreath, small firs and presents on the step.

What the picture shows

The door stands in the centre in a deep red, with panels, a brass handle and a round wreath of green needles with a red bow. Two lanterns hang on either side, and potted fir trees hung with baubles and a few wrapped boxes with ribbons stand on the steps. Pale snow lies below and the outline of the wall is barely marked in grey. The white canvas is almost unstitched at the edges and works as winter light. Eighteen floss colours, 32 m. The panels of the door are marked in a darker red and the handle in a few ochre stitches; both details are small but visible.
