Description

“Fallen in love mice” shows two grey mice touching noses under a sprig of mistletoe.

What the picture shows

The mouse on the left wears a red dress with white polka dots, a green sprig of mistletoe with white berries peeking out from behind its ears and a red bow tied on its tail. The one on the right wears a knitted jumper in broad red and white stripes. Both are worked in soft grey with white markings; the ears and noses are pale pink, the eyes closed, the paws joined below. Their tails curve out to the sides and almost reach the lower edge. Nineteen floss colours go mostly into the shaded fur and the red clothes. The light blue Aida is left unstitched, so the figures read clearly. The whole scene sits in a small circle at the centre of the square.
