Description

“Drop of the sun-1” shows a maple leaf in a hot red and orange range.

What the picture shows

The leaf opens into five lobes and turns slightly to one side: the edges are worked in dark red and cherry, the middle burns orange and amber, and the veins are drawn in a pale, almost white shade. A thin grey-blue line runs along the outline and separates the leaf from the fabric, while the stalk curves upwards. In the photo beads and a clear rhinestone are visible along the edges and at the centre of the leaf — the data for this kit does not list them. Fourteen floss colours carry a smooth transition from yellow to dark cherry. The background is not stitched: in the photo it is heavy dark blue fabric, on which the leaf looks cut out of paper. The shape is symmetrical, so the motif is easy to place straight.
