“Around the campfire” is a night camp below mountains: a tent, a fire and a boat on the water.

What the picture shows

A yellow tent glows in the foreground with a red-orange fire burning beside it in thin tongues of flame. Behind them lies a blue lake with a boat, then blue mountains rise with white slopes and a dark band of firs between them. Above are a golden crescent, small stars and an arc of golden thread across the whole sky. The black canvas is left unstitched and gives real night darkness. Twelve floss colours, 42 m. The flame is worked in three shades, from yellow at the base to red at the top, which makes it look alive.
