Description

“Spark the celebration” is a Christmas stocking with Santa lighting the star on top of the tree.

What the picture shows

The ground is deep blue and snowy, scattered with white snowflakes and sparks. A bushy fir in several shades of green stands on the right, hung with red, yellow and orange baubles. Santa in his red suit and cap has climbed a ladder and holds a golden star from which light spreads out. A snowman in a black top hat and a red scarf smiles at the bottom right. A narrow band with a red ornament runs along the top. The canvas is stitched over completely here, so the work looks as dense as a painting.
