Description

Wonderful Beast is a pink unicorn among flowers, set inside an oval medallion.

What the picture shows

The unicorn lies with its legs tucked in, head turned aside, eyes closed. Mane and tail are pink with white strands, the body is pale creamy pink, and the horn is short and gold. Flowers are scattered around it: pink buds at the side, yellow centres, green leaves below, a few small buds near the muzzle. The ground of the medallion is pale lilac with faint scrolls picked out in the same tone. The oval is edged with two rows of yellow-gold beads, and it is this rim that holds the shape of the patch. Fifteen colours work in a pastel range without harsh contrasts, and the printed scheme remains in the gaps between beads.
