“Winter guest” shows a snowman in a black top hat and a checked scarf standing in a winter forest drawn in greys.

What the picture shows

The top hat is worked in black beads with a green sprig on the brim, the scarf in golden and white beads, the buttons as three black dots. A garland of small green and golden beads winds around the head. The background is a printed winter landscape with bare trees; it is left open and sets a hushed, almost photographic palette. The circle is trimmed with a golden rim. The second part of the work uses the same base with a decorated tree among deer.
