Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Wing"

“Wing” is a wing-shaped brooch in silvery beads and dark blue crystals, with feathers below.

What the picture shows

The wing is spread and slightly curved, as if in motion. The upper edge is worked in dark blue and graphite microbeads, and the feathers lighten towards their tips into silver and pearl. The rows follow the line of each feather, so single quills read clearly instead of one flat mass. Bugle beads of two kinds mark the long flight feathers, while bicones and drops scattered along the top edge catch the light. Pale pink decorative feathers on a ribbon are attached below and carry the shape downwards. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.
