“We treat you to tea” shows a white cat in a red cap sitting in a pink mug lettered Merry cat.

What the picture shows

The mug is worked in pink and red beads, the cat in white and grey ones, the cap in red with a white trim. Golden stars and four-bead flowers are scattered over the cream ground, while the printed rays are left open. The base is square and the edge is trimmed with golden-orange beads. The second part of the work is a cream square with a large golden heart in an openwork outline. The handle of the mug is outlined in pale beads and reads clearly. The stars on the ground are scattered unevenly, as if thrown by the handful.

The pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on the ribbon. The cream and gold palette is calm, so the ornament also works outside December decor — on a kitchen shelf, for instance. The red envelope, greenery and the gift tag in the photo are styling props. Small golden four-bead flowers are scattered across the whole field — they are added at the end, once everything else is done. The pattern is printed on the canvas.
