Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Ursa Minor"

Ursa Minor is a smaller bear in the same night palette, with the constellation on its side. A companion to Ursa Major.

What the picture shows

The figure is more compact and turned a little differently: the cub stands with its head raised. The body is laid in blue, turquoise and deep violet beads, in places with mirror facets, so the colour shifts as it moves. The stars of the constellation are marked with pale beads joined by a thin line. Nine colours — a tighter range than in the larger piece, which makes the silhouette look calmer. The colour print remains on the canvas and shows in the gaps between the bead rows. The tail is short, the paws broad, and the palest beads are gathered on the chest — that is where the silhouette catches the light.
