Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Treble clef"

Treble clef is a graphic musical sign embroidered in black and steel beads. The most spare piece in the set: only five colours.

What the picture shows

The clef is shown in full, with its curl at the top and the loop below. The line is laid in black beads, and a row of steel and silver beads runs along the inner edge, giving depth and a light metallic sheen. The width of the line changes: narrower at the top, wider in the curl, as in a real notation sign. The shape is vertical, 36×80 mm. Around the clef the art canvas stays as print, so the figure reads as a silhouette. The curl at the top is a little wider than the loop below, and that difference gives the sign a sense of movement, as if it had just been written by hand. Inside the loop the beads are laid in a circle.
