Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "The Viscount Who Loved Me"
Description
“The Viscount Who Loved Me” is a heart with a couple in period dress: he in a black tailcoat, she in a pale gown.
What the picture shows
The tailcoat is worked in glossy black beads, the gown in cream and pearl ones, the lady’s hair in pale beads, and pink five-bead flowers with green leaves are scattered on either side. The faces stay printed, and it is they that carry the story: the pair stand close, almost touching. The ground is cream, the heart is trimmed with a copper-gold rim and hangs on a white ribbon. The second part of the work is a matching heart with an open love letter and pink flowers.

The pieces are sewn together, the decorative filler goes inside and a loop is drawn out at the top. It is an ornament with a literary wink — often given together with a book or tucked into a gift envelope. The pattern is printed on the canvas in colour, with no symbols to decode. The old newspaper sheet and the green card in the photo are styling props. The pink flowers on either side of the couple are worked at the end, once the figures are done.
