Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "The color of happiness"

“The color of happiness” is a butterfly with blue upper wings and yellow lower wings.

What the picture shows

The butterfly is spread symmetrically and both pairs of wings are fully visible. The upper ones are worked in blue and pale blue microbeads with a darker edge, the lower ones in yellow and gold, so the piece reads as the two colours of the Ukrainian flag. Drops and hemispheres lie along the inner edge of the upper wings and catch the light, while small rondelles run along the lower pair. The body is narrow and dark with two pearls, and the antennae are marked with a few beads and a leaf stone. The kit holds 21 bead colours, so the shifts within the blue and the yellow are very gradual. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.
