Description

“Symbol of the monarch” is a crown in emerald and gold with faceted stones.

What the picture shows

The crown stands head-on, with a tall middle point and two lower ones at the sides. The band is worked in gold and bronze beads, while the panels between the points are filled with dark green and emerald microbeads, so the gold reads clearly against the dark. Fourteen bugle beads lie along the band and give an even horizontal line. Twenty-four bicones in two kinds are set into the points and carry most of the sparkle. Drops of two kinds hang from the lower edge, and hemispheres and five leaf stones cover the joins. The kit holds 15 bead colours. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely.
