Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Symbol of luck"
Description
“Symbol of luck” is a small elephant with a raised trunk, worked in sequins and pearls.
What the picture shows
The elephant stands in profile with its trunk lifted — the position that is taken as a sign of good luck. The body is filled with grey and silvery microbeads, and sequins of three kinds lie over them: pink, pearl and white, seventy-one in all. The ear is large with a pink centre and edged with a row of pearls. A blanket of small flowers runs along the back — pink, lilac and cream, with leaf-shaped stones. Darker beads pick out the trunk and legs so the figure does not merge into itself. The kit holds 22 bead colours and the difficulty is above average. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.
