“Sweetie” is a pair of pink hair pins shaped as a wrapped sweet.

What the picture shows

Each element has the outline of a sweet with twisted ends of the wrapper. The centre is filled with large raspberry faceted stones, pink beads with a pearly sheen lie around them, and a row of finer beads along the edge draws the shape. The tails of the wrapper are worked in a lighter pink, so they do not merge with the centre. The canvas is covered completely. Nine colours all stay within pink, from pale to deep raspberry, which makes the work simple even for a first attempt. Both pins carry the same design but are mounted mirror-wise, so in the hair they point in opposite directions. The fine beads along the edge keep the outline even.
