Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Sweet little penguin"

“Sweet little penguin” shows a penguin in a knitted bobble hat and a striped scarf on a pale mint ground with snowflakes.

What the picture shows

The back and wings are worked in black beads, the white belly in matt ones, the hat and scarf alternate red and white, and the feet stay printed in orange. The base is square, the pale turquoise ground carries printed snowflakes, and a turquoise beaded rim runs along the edge under a white ribbon. The second part of the work is a white square with a large blue-and-turquoise snowflake. The drawing shows through everywhere, which keeps the piece light rather than crowded.

The two pieces are sewn together, the padding is tucked inside and the ribbon is drawn out as a loop. The penguin looks good on the tree and equally well as a tag on a gift box. The reindeer sock, baubles and cones in the photo are styling props and are not included. Black and white sit side by side here, so the contrast has to be kept neat — the most useful exercise in the whole piece. The pattern is in colour and printed straight on the canvas.
