Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Summer mood"

“Summer mood” is a butterfly in a green and yellow range, cut to the same shape as the other butterflies in the series but with a different palette.

What the picture shows

The wings are spread symmetrically, outlined in dark green beads with a pale green border along the very edge. Orange “eyes” in pink rims sit on the upper wings, with yellow and lime rows beside them. The lower wings are filled with large pink flowers with white centres, and orange dots are scattered between them. The body is dark green, the antennae thin and short. Thirteen colours: greens and yellows carry the base, pinks and oranges work as accents. The beads follow the drawn outlines in rows and the canvas print stays visible in the gaps. The green is dark and lime at once, so the wings do not merge into a single patch.

The piece is horizontal and small. The finished embroidery is cut out along the wing outline and mounted as a brooch; the pin and the backing are chosen separately. The wings are symmetrical, so the right half is worked as a mirror of the left, which makes counting the rows much simpler.
