Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Sparkle"

Sparkle is a tiny night moth with a triangular crystal at its centre — the smallest piece in this series.

What the picture shows

The wings are spread and slightly raised, as if the insect had just landed. A triangular stone with a rainbow sheen sits in the middle and gives the piece its name. Amber and pink faceted drops are laid on either side, with rows of lilac, silver and pearl beads running between them and repeating the shape of the wing. The lower body is worked in pink and purple beads in half-circles, the head is dark purple with two thin antennae, and a pale pearl edging runs around the whole figure. There are only 209 beads here, so each one is in plain view, and the gaps between them remain as the printed scheme on the canvas.
